Dalisa Pigram tipped to win Helpmann Award
Dalisa Pigram is a finalist in this year’s Helpmann Awards, for excellence in Australian performing arts.
She is tipped to win the Best Female Dancer category.
Winners are to be announced at a ceremony in Sydney tonight.

Kununurra: Rolf Harris plaque stolen
Someone has stolen a plaque from one of the celebrity trees in Kununurra’s Celebrity Tree Park.
Council was due to vote this week on whether to keep or remove the plaque after Harris’ UK sexual abuse conviction.
Trees planted by former Premier Brian Burke and former PM Julia Gillard have also been damaged or uprooted.

Dan Sultan’s new single
Victorian musician Dan Sultan has released a new single “Kimberley Calling”, based on visits to his grandmothers’ country.
The accompanying video clip shows many familiar scenes, mostly of the Dampier Peninsula.
Mr Sultan has just started a tour that will take in six states.
