Winter rains bring mosquito disease fears

A dangerous mosquito-borne disease is showing up in sentinel chicken blood samples in the Kimberley and Pilbara.

Unusual weather conditions are helping mosquitoes breed.

Although no spike in Ross River or Barmah Forrest virus rates have shown up this season, some of the chooks have tested positive to Kunjin.
