Pegasus Metals has found copper at the McLarty Ranges, 110km north of Derby.

Tanami Desert: Partners to develop gold prospect.

ABM Resources and Tanami Gold have agreed to jointly investigate a promising gold prospect near Coyote Mine.

If found to be economic, the companies will then develop a mine and process the ore.

The gold prospect, called Old Pirate, is in the Tanami Desert west of the NT border.

Argyle Diamond Mine: Underground mining to start this year

The owners of a gold project near Halls Creek have sold it with no cash changing hands.

Northern Star agreed to take $200,000 worth of Bulletin Resources shares to settle the deal for the Golden Crown project.

A rich deposit of rare earths has been confirmed at the Cummins Range, south-east of Halls Creek.

Proactive Investors Christine Feary reports that much of the deposit is within 50 metres of the surface, and therefore suitable for an open pit mine.
