Dampier Peninsula community residents are invited to come forth with complaints and queries about things they have bought.

Senior Regional Officer for the Kimberley Annetta Bellingeri plans to visit Beagle Bay, Lombadina, Djarindjin and One Arm Point between 22nd and 26thApril 2013.
She says she will concentrate on raising awareness of scams that target Aboriginal consumers as well providing information and advice about consumer and tenancy law.
“Request for money scams target all Western Australians however there are some versions which are particularly aimed at Aboriginal consumers and I hope that raising awareness through education can prevent people becoming victims,” she said.
Labor’s child protection spokesperson says minister Helen Morton refused to answer questions in Parliament about a boy’s death.

Dr Sally Talbot, who is also shadow minister for mental health and disability services, said family of a 15 year-old mentally impaired boy who wandered away and died on the Dampier Peninsula deserved an explanation.
“The Minister admitted that the boy had a disability but refused to say whether she had instigated an inquiry into this tragedy,” Dr Talbot said.
“Local police and Bardi and Nyul Nyul rangers spent many hours searching for this child and ended up finding his body in extremely distressing circumstances.”
