Cone Bay
The EPA has approved a proposal to establish an aquaculture zone at Cone Bay.
This means fin fish such as barramundi could be grown in cages off the coast.

Food writer Bob Broadfield says Cone Bay is the site of Australian’s only saltwater barramundi farm.
The owners are seeking EPA approval to increase production of what is currently a “boutique” product supplying restaurants, so that they can supply shops as well.
