Broome: Police seek camel tour arsonist
Police are asking for help to find out who burned valuable camel tour equipment on Thursday night.
The deliberately-lit fire destroyed saddles and other gear belonging to Red Sun Camels, but camels were not harmed.

A Katherine businessman has abandoned plans to re-open the local abattoir to slaughter cattle and feral camels.

Eradicate camels says station owner
Bulka Station’s Jim Motter has joined a call to eradicate feral camels rather than just control numbers.
He said he shoots about 120 camels every year, yet they still destroy fences and gates and drink too much water.

Feral animals to be slaughtered at Katherine
A Darwin investment group, called the Darwin Investment Group, is moving to buy the Katherine abbatoir.
The group plans to concentrate on slaughtering feral animals.
Western Desert: Camel cull ‘not enough’
A pastoralist near the WA-NT border welcomes the coming camel cull, but says it will be not be enough.
He said camels numbers are increasing by about 100,000 per year.
Broome: Camel-attack dog to live
Broome shire is not prosecuting the owner of two dogs who attacked Cable Beach camels, injuring a passenger.
One of the dogs has been declared dangerous.
