Cockatoo Island to Hedland: Cyclone advice

Communities from Cockatoo Island to Port Hedland are advised to prepare for a possible cyclone.

DFESThe tropical low that has been causing record flooding is expected to move over open water and possibly form a cyclone by Monday or Tuesday.

A Beagle Bay dad has continued to keep his kids away from school.

He says he doesn’t trust advice that an asbestos cleanup has made the school safe.

The Department of Aboriginal Affairs owns a nearby derelict building that has been identified as dangerous.
