Emerging art leaders in Perth

Representatives from 10 Kimberley Aboriginal art centres spent last week at the Art Gallery of WA.

They have been there for their own professional development as emerging cultural leaders.

They are also participants in a six year documentation of contemporary art practice called Desert River Sea: Kimberley Art Then & Now.

Participants were Mark Nodea, Kenny Griffiths, Ben Ward, Jeanette Swan, Rachael Umbagai, Joseph Nugget,  Natalie Hunter, Daniel Walbidi, Ashley Hunter, Betty Bundamarra, and Michael Torres.
