Grog buyers ID considered
The WA government is considering an ID card system for takeaway alcohol purchasers.
Under the scheme, similar to one operating in the NT, the courts could ban troublesome drinkers purchasing alcohol for 12 months.

Halls Creek: New grog bans for three communities

Terry Waldron
Ringer Soak, Nicholson Block and Koongie will all have grog bans for three years, says minister Terry Waldron.
He said he introduced the bans at the communities request and after visiting them last week.
