Broome, Wyndham: Port authorities to combine

A new Kimberley Port Authority would manage all Kimberley ports under a new government plan.

The new agency would manage the ports of Wyndham, Derby, Cockatoo and Koolan Islands, Broome, and the planned port at James Price Point.

McLarty Ranges: New copper discovery

Pegasus Metals has found copper at the McLarty Ranges, 110km north of Derby.

The Derby Memorial Swim School is Royal Life Saving Society

endorsed and is now taking enrolments for swimming lessons

consisting of 9 x 35 minute sessions for term 4

Starting Saturday 4th February 2012

• 6 Months – 18 months: Infant Swimming Lessons with parent*

• 18 Months – 3 years: Toddler Swimming Lessons with parent*

• Four year olds: Join in an introductory program which prepares children for Stage One

swim lessons. Parents to be ready to get in*

• Five years and over: Stages One to Twelve of this RLSS endorsed swimming program.

*Where a child is enrolled in the pre-school-age (ALL under 5y.o.) swimming lessons, at

least one parent is required to attend & participate in all of their lessons

Closing date for enrolments will be

Tuesday 31st January 2012

Cost: $125.00 per child

Further Info:

- Limited placements per stage – first in best dressed policy

- .Children must be the required age, for the stage in which they’re enrolled, on the first

day of their lessons.

To secure your child’s placement in the class, full payment of lesson fees is

required prior to the commencement of the lessons.

We can also cater for Adults or Children individually

Some deemed “low-risk” have been transferred to a low-security facility near Hobart.
