Broome: Magistrate reserves judgement on native title arrests
The magistrate in Broome has reserved his judgement on Police rights of arrest on native title land.
Police arrested some men for disorderly conduct at Dampier Peninsula, which the KLC said was unlawful because the native title land is not a public place.

Halls Creek: Woman on murder charge
A Halls Creek woman has been charged with the murder of her father – an upgraded charge.
Earlier this month Police charged Rachel Lannigan (38) with causing aggravated grievous bodily harm after her father admitted himself to hospital with stab wounds.

A rodeo rider is in Royal Perth Hospital recovering from injuries he sustained in Derby on the weekend.
The Myroodah station worker was riding a bull that threw him and then trampled him.
