Operatic soprano Antoinette Halloran will be performing later this month at Broome’s annual Opera Under the Stars.

Antoinette Halloran - Soprano
Antoinette Halloran is a graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts and has an Honours Degree in Music from the University of Melbourne.
Winner of the Acclaim Awards (Australian Puccini Foundation), Antoinette has performed the following roles with Opera Australia within the past five years: Mimi: La Bohème; Despina: Cosi fan Tutte; Josephine: H.M.S. Pinafore; Gianetta: The Gondoliers; Ellen: Lakmé; the title role in Rusalka, Cio cio san: Butterfly, Stella: A Streetcar Named Desire, Donna Elvira: Don Giovanni and Johanna: Sweeney Todd. She performed the title role in Tosca for Melbourne Opera.
She has appeared as soloist with the Melbourne, Tasmanian and Canberra Symphony Orchestras, in concert with Sydney Philharmonia. Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Melbourne Chorale, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and with Elvis Costello and the Brodsky Quartet at Sydney Festival.
TV appearances include: Operatunity Oz and Spicks and Specks. Recordings include Puccini Romance for ABC Classics.
In 2010, she sings the title role in The Merry Widow for Opera Queensland and Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus for Opera Australia.
