Music: Visiting tenor in line for Helpmann awards

Operatic Tenor Stuart Skelton has been nominated for two prestigious live performance awards.
Mr Skelton will be in Broome next week to perform at OPERA UNDER THE STARS® 2010.

Tenor, Stuart Skelton, starring at OPERA UNDER THE STARS® 2010 on Saturday 28 August has been nominated for two Helpmann Awards – the most prestigious awards presented for live theatre performance in Australia. Stuart was nominated for:
- Best male performer in an opera – for his performances in the Title Role of the opera Peter Grimes by Benjamin Britten staged by Opera Australia.
- Best Male performer in a supporting role in an opera – for his performances in the Flying Dutchman by Richard Wagner staged by The State Opera of South Australia.
The winners will be announced next month.
