Music: Easy Tigers head back north

Easy Tigers

Easy Tigers

A well-known pub band is heading back to Broome after braving Perth’s coldest July.

Easy Tigers will start playing Kimberley gigs this week – see the Music Page for details.

PRESS RELEASE
W.A.’s favourite party band is back on the road.
Making their annual pilgrimage from Freo to Broome they will once again be passing through the local area bringing their super danceable blend of rock, funk, hip-hop and blues and roots for your enjoyment.
Playing songs you know, but not as you know them, Easy Tigers will get hip-hop with the Beatles and break-beat with the Rolling Stones, putting a modern twist on the classics from the 60’s and even playing a few of the less awful current chart hits.
Somewhere in their three-hour show they’ll find time to play you some songs they’ve been writing which will be on an album to be released later this year.

These shows will also feature Rudi Wezow a blues and roots artist from the East Coast whose sound draws comparisons as wide as Xavier Rudd and Led Zepplin. Rudi will perform an opening support slot, with some musical accompaniment from The Easy Tigers. For more info on Rudi visit www.myspace.com/rainbowyawn
