Tanami Desert: Coyote mine to resume production
The Coyote gold mine, which ceased production late last year, will resume operations soon.
The stoppage is said to be caused by the owner’s decision to stop using a mining contractor, and an unusually heavy wet season.
Coyote mine owner Tanami Gold is said to have purchased equipment which should be in place and operating within a few weeks.
Coyote gold mine is in the Tamami Desert, about 30km west of the NT border.
