East Kimberley: Iron ore mine planned
A private company plans to create an iron ore mine just 20km from Argyle diamond mine.
The ore would be trucked by road to Wyndham then exported to Wyndham, then trans-shipped on barges to ships bound for China.
The project could be in production as early as April next year.
