Broome: Strong support for Shinju Matsuri
A public meeting at Broome last night showed strong support for the Shinju Matsuri festival.
The festival had been scaled down last year after community members with Asian heritage withdrew their support in protest at Broome Shire’s treatment of the Taiji dolphin controversy.
