People: Sooty Pigram wins at Albany

Sooty Pigram was overall winner at Albany speedway’s bike night last night (30 January 2010).
“The final was handlebar to handlebar all the way,” he said.
“It’s a good little confidence boost to take to Alice Springs.”
The Broome boy now has another long drive ahead of him.
He said he will be racing at Alice Springs’ “The Bikes are Back” meeting this Friday and Saturday night (5&6 February 2010).
Sooty said both meetings are part of a motorcycle racing revival and a lot of younger riders are entering the sport.
