‘Better to live in Perth’ says country MP
Pastoral and Mining MLC John Ford says living in Perth makes it easier to visit his electorate.
He said Perth has air-routes to the whole of his electorate, which includes the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gasgoyne, and Goldfields-Esperance districts as well as parts of the Mid-West.
His comments came after it was reported a third of WA’s MPs do not live in their electorates.

She has signed up with a top US modeling agency, and is also about to appear in a campaign for Aboriginal swimwear label Kooey.

Lajamanu: Elders want traditional punishment recognised
Aboriginal elders want the government to recognise and allow traditional punishments, aka “payback”.
They say if magistrates allowed bail for the purposes of traditional punishment it would prevent a great deal of random violence between feuding families.
