‘Better to live in Perth’ says country MP

Pastoral and Mining MLC John Ford says living in Perth makes it easier to visit his electorate.

He said Perth has air-routes to the whole of his electorate, which includes the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gasgoyne, and Goldfields-Esperance districts as well as parts of the Mid-West.

His comments came after it was reported a third of WA’s MPs do not live in their electorates.
