Cocos Islands: Boat people rescued
A commercial ship rescued 54 asylum seekers who had run out of food and water north of Cocos.
Their boat was not moving when intercepted yesterday.
Food and water was dropped from the air and the commercial ship stayed with the boat through the night til a customs vessel reached it this morning.
