Halls Creek: Judges like the ‘Banner in the Terrace’
Halls Creek kids scored a “highly commended” for their entry in this year’s Banners in the Terrace competition.
Each town, city and shire in our state is invited to submit a banner, and the entries are displayed on the light poles in St George’s Terrace and Adelaide Terrace.
“This year, a Banner in the Terrace project was initiated by the Shire of Halls Creek Youth Services Section as a joint venture with the Halls Creek District High School,” said shire CEO Warren Olsen.
“The banner was designed and painted by Youth Services participants and the school’s upper primary kids with the support of art teacher Mr Josh Cocking.”
