Premier gives ‘mixed messages’ about Kimberley water

Premier Colin Barnett told a talkback radio caller he thought Kimberley water would be used in the Pilbara at a future date. His plan to build a canal from the Fitzroy River down to Perth cost him the 2005 election.

Halls Creek: Inquest into baby’s death

A baby diagnosed with pneumonia in Halls Creek was airlifted to Port Hedland hospital where she died on arrival, the coroner was told.
